I’m a mother of three, an author, a multiple sclerosis warrior, and a believer in the strongest coffee possible. Though I now live with my family on the South Dakota prairie, I was born and raised in the forests of Northern Minnesota.
As an author, I write stories about friendship, family, love, adventure, and finding light in the darkness. I’m thrilled to be working with Sharon Pelletier of Dystel, Goderich & Bourret on my debut novel, THE SPEED OF LIGHT.
My background is in journalism, and I now work in higher education communications. I’m a 2016 Pitch Wars alum; a columnist for the National MS Society; president of the board of directors of Aspire, an organization that serves adults with disabilities; and co-creator of a local writing group, Aberdeen Write Now. The writing community is an amazingly supportive place, and I’m honored and excited to share this journey.
